State & Federal Government Business Support

There have recently been various announcements of available support from State & Federal Governments, so we have compiled a short list of packages for businesses and employees, which you may be able to access and utilise.

Business Support Fund – Expansion program providing $10,000 for employing businesses in metropolitan Melbourne & Mitchell Shire and now $5,000 for employing businesses in regional Victoria;

Regional Tourism Accommodation Support Program – up to $225 per night up to maximum of $1,125 per bookable accommodation offering for cancellation of regional accommodation bookings by travelers from metropolitan Melbourne & Mitchell Shire (& some interstate visitors).

Coronavirus (COVID-19) Test Isolation and Worker Support Payments:

• A one off $300 payment to support Victorian workers, including parents & guardians, who are required to self-isolate because they are either diagnosed with COVID-19 or are a close contact of a confirmed case;
• A one off $1,500 payment to support Victorian workers who:
• Have been instructed by DHHS to self-isolate or quarantine at hoe because they are either diagnosed with COVID-19 or are a close contact of a confirmed case;
• Have been instructed by DHHS that their child aged under 16 needs to self-isolate or quarantine at hoe because they are either diagnosed with COVID-19 or are a close contact of a confirmed case.
